In the Spring of 2016 Balenciaga released a replica of the Ikea bag selling for $2145. This shoe attempts convert the original recycled Frakta bag, worth $1, into something that could potentially be worth $2145.

“While walking in my neighborhood I came across a broken chair. Though this chair
could not serve its original purpose, it did not belong in the garbage. I took the chair and used the fabric for the upper of the shoe, the chair leg for the heel, and the foam for
shoes’ interior padding”
